My designs are inspired by my love for the organic beauty found in nature. I learned from my father, an avid art collector and artist, that a collection can become part of your life. . . part of who you are. It represents what you love and derive joy from, and, therefore, it can be very fulfilling and spiritual. I began to collect rocks, leaves and seashells, as so many do, and I never outgrew that love. I treasure these precious gifts of nature as truly miraculous pieces of art. Seashells evolved into pearls, rocks evolved to geodes, and geodes into semi-precious gemstones.
It is easy to be lured in by the natural beauty of a lustrous pearl or a sparkling gemstone, and as I studied the history of each stone, my collection expanded with purpose. Many of my designs spotlight natural Fresh Water Baroque Pearls. Their beauty is timeless as every pearl is unique in shape, size, color and luster, and can stand alone to be admired or be combined with stones to enhance their beauty.
My pieces are one-of-a kind, incorporating the symbolic nature of the specific stones to bring inspiration and love to those who receive them. In addition to Pearls, Amethyst, Moonstone, Clear Quartz, Labradorite, Turquoise and Aquamarine are some of my favorite stones; each one is associated with physical healing, serenity, spiritual growth or love.
It is my love of nature's beauty that drives my creativity which is expressed in my jewelry.
