The ancient Egyptians considered amethyst a stone of the intellect and wisdom. In Greek, the word "amethustos" means to be clear of mind. They believed it was  protection against intoxication. Generally thought to be a  protector from negativity, helping with emotional balance and patience, prosperity and abundance. (Green Amethyst Above)

Clear Quartz symbolizes white light, energy and health. It has been used for centuries in healing. It helps to gather and distribute your positive energy  and nourish your mind, your emotions, and your physical body. Our ancients used it for healing the body, transforming the spirit, inspiring insight (the crystal ball), guarding against negative energy, and soothing the energy flows of spirit and body.

Aquamarine, a blue green stone that comes from Columbia and Brazil, has been called the “stone of the sea”, often worn by sailors to protect them in harmful waters. Aquamarine is symbolic of the ocean and it represents peacefulness, calmness, and harmony. It is associated with emotional healing and letting go of the past.

Diamond is the only gemstone composed of one pure element, carbon, whose molecules are bonded  with perfect symmetry in ever direction. According to G. Roach, who authored "The Diamond Cutter": it 'the diamond's physical properties of clarity, and hardness have give rise to it being a symbol of power, strength, innocence, longevity and good fortune.' The fact that it must be cut to reveal its beauty compares to the inner, spiritual beauty of the human being. It's reputation as the hardest mineral of all leads to its association with marriage and steadfast love.

The stone itself is named after its original location, The Labrador Peninsula. Known as a stone of transformation, labradorite is a useful companion when going through changes. It helps in communicating with people and following one’s intuition, as well as imparting strength and perseverance.
